Hi there! You can call me Eden, Edie or Reese. Welcome to my selfship blog! This is the place where I yell about how much I love fictional characters, be it through writing, memes or just general silliness.

- Neither Eden, Edie nor Reese are my real name; I prefer to keep it a secret on this blog for personal reasons.
- I'm okay with sharing the vast majority of my F/Os! It gives me and the people I interact with even more to talk about. However, I am not comfortable sharing a few of them romantically - see my F/O List for details. You can still interact if you ship with them in this way, but I'd appreciate it if you gave me a ship tag to blacklist.
- New and revised F/Os/ships will be added to the version of my F/O List that I can be viewed here before I add them to the list on the blog itself. The reason for this is so that I can have the addition/upgrade on record without agonising about a cool ship tag; that way, I can put the tag on the blog version whenever the time comes. I am considering retiring the on-blog version of my F/O List and moving tags here. No ETA on the project's completion, though.
- Most of my content is OK to reblog unless stated otherwise.
- Please let me know if you interact/follow from a blog other than your selfship blog. For the record, I am uncomfortable disclosing my main publicly for personal reasons, but I will let you know as soon as I follow you.
- Expect some spoilers, mainly concerning the sources listed in the About section. If I want to gush to you in particular about something spoilery, I'll try to make sure if it's okay with you first.
- When it comes to romantic F/Os, I have a self-imposed policy in which I will not romantically ship with a character if they are, or seem to be, under 20. It's a long and very embarrassing story. Please keep this in mind when you recommend romantic F/Os to me.
- Some of the characters I ship with can be considered problematic. However, my attachment to said characters does not mean I agree with or condone their actions in canon. I also consume my media critically.
- If you need me to tag a trigger or just something you'd rather not see from me, please tell me and I'll be more than happy to help. You don't have to tell me why. It doesn't matter why.
- I would caution minors to take care; while I have removed most of my old suggestive content, there may still be leftovers. Blacklist “Eden Gets Spicy” just in case I am unable to remove something or I’ve forgotten. Bear in mind that I am of age (I’m 25) and all F/Os that feature in such content are over 18.

Please Tag:

  • Depictions of, or references to, serious/life-threatening illness, especially cancer and illnesses concerning the heart, even in the context of a joke/figure of speech (Trigger) (Seeing untagged posts has come dangerously close to triggering a panic relapse; although I'm getting better at managing this, better safe than sorry)

  • Pregnancy and childbirth depictions or references, especially involving a reader (Squick) (This is a hard limit/boundary for me and I feel physically sick thinking about it)

  • Yandere/excessively possessive behaviour (Squick)

  • Domestic violence, especially if death is involved (Squick) (This really upsets me and makes me anxious for future relationships)

  • Use of the general "you" in discourse posts (I often misinterpret this)

DNI if you fit any of these criteria:

  • Exclusionist (e.g. TERF, SWERF, aspec exclusionist)

  • LGBT+phobe

  • Sexist

  • Racist/don't support BLM

  • You think being pan is biphobic or vice versa

  • You think autism is a Bad Thing that needs to be cured

  • You use autism/autistic as an insult

  • Ableist in general

  • Nazi or a sympathiser

  • Antivax (especially if you think vaccines cause autism)

  • Pedo/MAP

  • Adult who selfships romantically with minors, even if either party is aged up or down, or you condone such practices. No, it does not matter that you think the minor character in question "passes" as an adult; you have a duty of care to the young people you interact with and who interact with you. Familial and platonic shipping are fine, however.

  • Supporter of cringe culture, not a supporter of selfshipping, or you're just here to pick a fight

  • MetaDede shipper. In general, I tend to find canon x canon content of my romantic F/Os (even just the potentials) funny and blacklist the few ships that make me annoyed/upset. However, despite my best efforts, this ship continues to make me feel uncomfortable due to it being remarkably difficult to avoid.

  • Pro-life. Given my pregnancy squicks, I have special contempt for you.

  • Proshipper/comshipper/anti anti/darkshipper/whatever silly term you're using now

  • Fujoshi/fudanshi

  • Any other kind of bigot

  • You selfship with real people. Characters played by actors/actresses do not count; you're fine in that case.

  • Non-selfship blog. As I mentioned before, please let me know if you, a selfshipper, interact from a blog other than the one you use for selfshipping.

  • General DNI. I'm not interested in bigoted opinions or attempts at trolling. All I ask is that you follow my two golden rules: don't be gross and don't be an asshole. Otherwise, go away.

  • If you've read all the way through and understand the terms, DM me with the secret codeword, which is the solution to this riddle: The more you take, the more you leave behind. What are they? Don't worry about getting it right, though - just making an attempt is proof enough for me. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
